Service Description
Duration: 1-1.5 hours Location: Waka Artisans, S110, Block A, PMQ, 35 Aberdeen Street, Central, Hong Kong Workshop Fee: $530/person (Including one piece of work, all necessary tools and materials, glazing and firing costs) In this workshop, you will make you own sake cup that can hold your sake for a lifetime. With necessary tools and materials, you will be able to apply the hand-forming technique, ‘Kurinuki’ (which involves hollowing a solid clay form to obtain interior space), into your making. It is a slow process and certainly not one for production. However, the pot made with this method is definitely one of a kind. Once your sake cup is completed, you will have a selection of glaze colours to choose from and it will be fired and glazed. All finished pieces will be ready to pick up in 3 to 4 weeks after the workshop. *for students at all levels of experience *small class and hygienic environment *must wear a mask during the workshop *wash hands before and after the class properly
